Hey guys! I've been really busy lately, but finally, another book review on another GREAT book!
Today's book is: 'Midnight for Charlie Bone' by Jenny Nimmo

And then, without looking back, he said, "Why are you following me?"
-Jenny Nimmo
Here begins the first book of Charlie Bone's adventures when he finds out what he can really do, and who he really is.
Charlie Bone lives with his mother, and his two grandparents. Grandma Maisie, who is his mother's mother, is a very sweet and kind lady, while Grandma Bone, who is his father's mother, is sharp and rude. Charlie spends most of his time with his best friend, Benjamin Brown, who lives next door along with his dog, Runner Bean. He does this to get away from her. Charlie often wonders what happened to his father, because when he was five years old, his father mysteriously vanished.
One evening, Charlie finds a photograph that was mistakenly given to him when he wanted a picture of Runner Bean to give to Benjamin for his birthday. He stares hard at the strange photo, and then a very strange thing starts to happen; the photo starts to talk.
When Grandma Bone finds out, she is delighted. She invites all three of her horrible Yewbeam sisters over to see if it's true.
If Charlie really can hear voices in photos---then he will have to attend the strange and ancient Bloor's Academy, run by the eccentric headmaster, Doctor Bloor.
For this book I would advise age 9 and older. Written so younger children can understand, but older children can easily enjoy, this exciting book is a fantastic story.
What do you guys think?
