Another book review on J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, book three in the Harry Potter series.
'Welcome!' said Dumbledore, the candlelight shimmering on his beard. 'Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! I have a few things to say to you all, and as one of them is very important, I think it best to get it out of the way...'
-J. K. Rowling, The Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry's back at Number 4, Privet Drive with three of his least favorite people in the world, Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and their son, Dudley Dursley. After another dangerous year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the year before, Harry wonders if anything else will happen at school this year. His friends Ron and Hermione are on Holiday while Harry's at Privet Drive, bored and very lonely.
Harry's famous at school for stopping the Dark Wizard Lord Voldemort three times and escaping alive...But even though Number 4, Privet Drive is extremely boring and miserable, it seems as though things might happen outside school this year...For Harry Potter...and perhaps somebody else...
As this book is very exciting and intense, I would advise age 13 for this J. K. Rowling book. With beautiful illustrations by award winning artist Jim Kay, the Wizarding World comes alive with all of it's thrills and dangers.
