A Poem

I started thinking, and I realized that money really isn't important at all. There are tons of things more important than money! God, Family, Friends, The Bible,...The list goes on. And I think it's sad that we really think money is a must. If we make money our goal, it curdles us, changing our views our goals, and ourselves. Love of Money is a trap that we should try not to fall into, so I wrote a poem about it. I hope you enjoy.

Money Is Funny

Poems and rhymes

Dollars and dimes

Money, it’s funny.

For it’s nice, then it’s not.

More the pain that comes with it

Worry, pride and then loss.

No, it does not help us.

Though we think it a must.

We moan and we groan when we have money not;

But money it’s funny.

It’s nice

Then it’s not.

Many men it has curdled

Many lies it has wrought.

Many hearts it has broken.

When they decided they thought

That money, it mattered.

So watch out, take heed!

Money grows like a weed.

Money is funny.

It’s nice

Then it’s not.

For it really matters not.

Though people have always sought

Money.
