Unveiling the Inkwells

The Inkwells officially began in spring of 2020.  It was in the midst of the pandemic, and E. G. Runyan had nothing to do.

It all started when E. G. Runyan heard that C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien had both been a part of a writing club called ‘The Inklings.’  E. G. Runyan was interested.  She hadn’t known that some of her favorite authors had been in a writing club.

As she was thinking about it, she suddenly decided that she would have her own art club, called ‘The Inkwells’ in honor of C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien.

The first meeting was  held on Messenger in April, 2020.  Unfortunately, none of the first two members invited became permanent members.  E. G. Runyan was discouraged.  Again, another club had failed.  Luckily, someone else came to the rescue.

   K. L. Kissick, a naturally gifted artist, joined the Inkwells.  There were still only two members, but E. G. Runyan’s spirits were lifted.  Maybe, just maybe, they would make it after all.

Out of the blue, E. G. Runyan re-connected with a distant relative.  He told her that he had his own website called Fixio Studios.  E. G. Runyan invited him to The Inkwells.  Wit Bro is now one of the biggest contributors to The Inkwells.

Over time The Inkwells released a website.  We now work on producing Christian entertainment, art, and stories.  We partner with Fixio Animation Studios and Abby Broyles with Beyond Uganda Ministries.  We hope that you will be blessed by viewing our different passions!  Thank you for visiting us here!  We hope that you will come back soon!
